It’s always confusing for young researchers to publish research paper in a conference or a journal. Publishing an article from a conference paper can lead to higher research productivity but there are barriers when we publish research paper, these are usually lack of time, lack of       structure/Plan, Developing strategies pre and post conference etc. To publish paper in a conference is to actually turn up to hear a presented paper as a talk .Conference papers are usually descriptive in nature , brief in length ,focuses on research process while free research Journals article should be in-depth especially rebackground, context, existing literature . The focus of Journal paper should be on arguments and be tailored in specific format of the specified journals. One of the best advantages to publish the paper in journals that the review procedure shape the context,content,tone of a piece of scholarship . Across many disciplines, a much higher volume of papers are published in a  conference papers than in journal articles . We can conclude that the papers published in free research journals are likely to be better than the conference. It is more prestigious to publish paper in a journal than in a conference. The paper that has been published in the conference proceedings may be published in international Journals. The review process of journals takes several days or in some cases several months. Some students publish papers in university journals, these are those papers that appear in university’s own publications. There are Journals, Transactions and letters that are the primary means of publishing technical papers concerning original work in IEEE fields of interest. All these papers including conference papers, seminars, research and others are just different kinds of work that have their own purposes .The only thing that needs to be noted is that all these types of papers are academic and usually they have some common and uncommon features .The last question that authors might think that “is it bad that my paper wasn’t selected to be published in a Journal?” There is no need to worry in this situation.
